C-SMASH VRS COMES TO QEST AND PICO VR HEADSETS COMING in April

C-Smash VRS will be available on Qest 2., Quest 3 and PICO 4 headsets on the 4th April 2024. C-Smash VRS will break through the barriers in the way of PS VR 2. exclusivity to be able to reach a an even larger VR gaming community.

C-Smash VRS was first released with PlayStation VR 2 in June this year. It was a re-release from Cosmic Smash, the Japan exclusive Dreamcast and arcade game Cosmic Smash from the early 2000s. The game was transformed into a thrilling block-busting VR racket sports title produced by publisher-producer RapidEyeMovers and the developer Wolf & Wood.

With some significant updates throughout the second half of 2017, the Quest as well as the Pico launch will have the ability roll through all changes and new features which have been added with the gaming experience with PSVR 2 since its launch. This includes a brand new infinite mode as well as co-op game modes, AI opponents, more levels more music, and much more.

Because of its minimalist art style, it will shift effortlessly to the two independent VR platforms. It also comes with the added benefit of not being connected to a console in order to let your hands to move further.

When it launches on Quest as well as Pico, C-Smash VRS will include a global leaderboard that is cross-platform with head-to-head cross-platform co-op multiplayer won’t be made available until a later update. This is a bit of an issue, but given the way in which the games has received support thus far, it’s great to know that these types of significant updates will be available.

C-Smash VRS was in the race in the Top Virtual Reality Game award in the GOTYs of last year. When we wrote this review we wrote “With the ease of squash as well as block smashing at the heart of C-Smash VRS is an amazing virtual racket game. The ball and bat Physics aren’t easy to learn, but stay with the simpler Zen mode or play with your friends with co-op or multiplayer, and there’s a lot of fun to be had.”
